To our valued clients and patients,
In accordance with the CDC and AVMA guidelines, we are currently changing our policies to minimize the risk of client and staff exposure to the COVID 19 virus. We will remain open for business as usual for as long as we are able to. To ensure this happens, effective immediately, the following changes have been made:
Please call us when you arrive at the clinic. We will no longer be allowing clients to enter the building.
We will continue to see our appointments as usual. When you arrive, please give us a call and we will come get your pet and return them after the exam. You do have the option to request we use one of our two window rooms so you can watch the exam from outside. Please let us know when you call if you would us like to use a window room. It is important during this time to keep your phone on you. We will give you a call when we are finished to go over the exam, ask any additional questions, get authorization for diagnostics and treatment, and take payment over the phone.
During this time, we will take credit card payments over the phone. We are still accepting cash. Our team will come to your car, bring your payment into the clinic and return your change to you. We will then take sanitary precautions.
If you need to pick up medication or food, please call us when you arrive, pay over the phone and we will bring it out to your car for you.
We will continue to provide rabies licenses for Pinal County Animal Control. Please send your rabies certificate to us via e-mail or text (picture of the certificate is required) to reception@mwvh.com in advance. The certificate should have the following information: Name of the doctor that gave the vaccine as well as their license number, date vaccine given and expiration date, manufacturer of vaccine, vaccine serial number, pet’s name, owner’s name and address. We will prepare the rabies license and call when it is ready, at which time you can provide payments over the phone. If a new tag is needed, you can pick it up at your convenience. Please call the clinic so we can bring the tag to your car.
We appreciate everyone’s patience and cooperation as we all work our way together through this time of uncertainty.
Thank you,
The Staff at Maricopa Wells Veterinary Hospital
